So, it has been a decade since the last post on the Blogger forum. We have received an announcement that the inactive accounts will be deleted. The quantity and frequency of urban forestry activism has been astounding, but has been steered into other social media outlets.

Wow, have we ever written, cajoled, testified, given our public comment, filed legal actions, posted, photographed, fund-raised and conferred withy our associates aboiut how to raise awareness of the need for better recognition nature!

Words of Affirmation: Speak for the trees and maybe even speak to the trees.
Quality Time: Whether a five minute walk or a five hour hike, leave a few moments to forget the tick of the clock and fall into tree time.
Physical Touch: Hug a tree. Touch your toes to the moss.
Acts of Service: Pick up litter, volunteer toward trail maintenance, or spend time advocating in your communities for a vibrant future for our forests.
Giving and Receiving Gifts: Know that it takes active investment to protect our old-growth forests. Consider giving to those efforts this season as you give thanks.
